Fluorescent Beige is a collaborative exhibition by Nataly Barajas and Alek Blaze Palacios, featuring sculptural paintings inspired by the places they call home: Fresno and the Central Valley.

The artists draw from their experiences growing up and moving through the 559, from Southeast Fresno to Central Fresno, Calwa and beyond. Their work reflects on what it means to live in communities that are often overlooked and where resources have not always been equally shared. At the same time, the exhibition is a celebration of the people, creativity, and everyday life that continue to thrive in these places.

Fluorescent Beige is ultimately about home- where we come from, what shapes us, and how we continue to make something meaningful from the places we know best.
